HOUSE OF CARDIN

The documentary film House of Cardin was produced by filmmakers P. David Ebersole and Todd Hughes, and traced the formidable career of one of the world's great Modernist fashion designers, Pierre Cardin. I designed the initial promotional poster, which morphed into a larger branding project including 3 posters, ads, and spin-off elements that the filmmakers were able to create from the brand "kit of parts". The images were pulled from Cardin's archives, with colors from his 1960s Futurist phase, and the circles that became a trademark in his work.
